Be Still by The Ale Apothecary

Ronnie Aldridge is drinking a Be Still by The Ale Apothecary at The Ale Apothecary Cellar Room

Super complex. Sour stouts are rare and this is a really good one. Getting some chocolate on the back preceded by a great sour wild ale profile. Finishes smooth and flavorful. Great stuff!

The most geuzey of the bunch. Funky wet cellar and spruce/resin vibes.

Nectarines shine well on top of a moderately sweet and modestly acidic base. Fleshy stone fruit and toast.

Queen of Noise with Red Grapes by The Ale Apothecary

Matt Hersh is drinking a Queen of Noise with Red Grapes by The Ale Apothecary at The Ale Apothecary Cellar Room

Taster Taster

Nose shows red grape but not in a red wine kinda way. More jammy vibes over lemon zest and implied lacto. Modest oak. Palate is a bit more dry oak and cedar ahead of the grape that hits midway. As with the white variant, modest acid.

Ping Pong Table Beer by The Ale Apothecary

Taster Taster

Nose is musty leather, some implied grainy/doughy tones, geuzey and umami undertones, salinity, Brett herbals. Palate has a light sweetness up front ahead of distinct Brett that throws leather and herbaceous elements but doesn’t dominate. Mild acid.
