On Friday November 17, 2017 we will be hosting our Fall Pig Roast and Keg Tapping. Ticket price includes keg tapping, stein hoist competition, live music from the Alpen Echos, book signing, and a delicious Pig Roast and German sausage buffet dinner. \n\nFor this event we will be partnering with Taft's Brewery! The ale house down in over the rhine opened their doors in April 2015. The original location, located in the Over the Rhine Neighborhood, features soaring 46 ft ceilings, beautiful chandeliers and high arch windows. These details are complemented by rich dark wood and rookwood tiles, a nod to the tiles found in the home of William Howard Taft's, the famous figure from whom the brewery gets their namesake. These are just one of the many elements that can be found in the building that pay homage to the president. Employees from the brewery will be in attendance to answer any questions. Relatively new to the brewery scene, Taft's is excited to share their beer with you! \n\nOur special guest for the evening will be writer and historian Dr. Don Tolzmann! Dr. Tolzmann is a recognized expert in German American Studies.
