What a poduct/brand mess. This beer has different names, different ingredient lists. In this 4 pack alone, I’ve had two cans that were decent—malty crisp citrus—and one skunked beyond recognition. No dates on the cans, but the bad one has a green dot.

cosmo is drinking an India Pale Ale by Glutenberg Craft Brewery at Swampview Manor
Really starting to grow on me. A powdery sweetness, slight bit of sour, melds well with the rich pine bitter in the hop.

Tan-yellow with a kiss of haze. Brisk, inviting aroma—lemony-bitter, new-to-me vegetal graininess, I think buckwheat? Reminds me of the Osgoods’ kitchen a bit. Thin, lightly oily, crisp—definitely beer, definitely not barley, but I can drink this.

Sweet, very lacy head. Rich, banana, a little funky. Harder to chug than you might think.
cosmo is drinking a Primus by Brouwerij Haacht Brasserie at Swampview Manor
Light, grassy, a bit of creamed corn. Too sweet, a little hollow, some lingering cheap/mistreated hop bitter-muck—but honestly, quite tolerable and better than expected. Pair well with the 2014 Tour of Flanders.

Purple-ish dark pink, brilliant sharp tart aroma. Effervescent in texture and tone—bright, fleshy cherry, intermittently punctuated with sour. Earthy undertone throughout before a pleasant, quenching finish. Some warmth lingers, skin and stems.

Packaged 1/16/23. Dark orange. Musty, vaguely vegetal aroma, some flatbread. Rich, boozy. Deceptively thin-bodied, but positively symphonic—leathery, nutty, vanilla, brown sugar, whiskey. Better as it goes. Smooth, almost evaporative finish. Outstanding.
cosmo is drinking a Beantown Stout Series: Vietnamese Coffee by Dorchester Brewing Co. at Swampview Manor
Pours black with ruddy edges, head fizzes down instantly. Coffee scent w/hints of vanilla. Perfect mild, milky sweetness and subtle creamy texture. Oily cold brew, Nilla wafer. Quaffable body. Smooth but with smoke-edged finish. Compelling, not a pastry.

Hazy pale yellow, lightly tropical aroma. Rich, soft—unripe peach, cantaloupe, grapefruit, acerbic lemony bites with hints of dankness. Very good but def no session. It may be the “mellow” version of Rabbit Rabbit, but still packs quite the punch.

Crystal clear brown with a golden tinge. Bubbly fast-fading head. Subtle aroma—faint bitter, maybe some apple? Thin, crisp, nicely hoppy—limey, thin bitterness. Holds up well as it lingers. Still ricey but reduced adjuncts from the Dark is welcome.
cosmo is drinking a Dark Ale by Ground Breaker Brewing at Swampview Manor
More of a murky amber—musky vegetal aroma, some off-oiliness. Sweet, not as rich as you’d imagine, coffee. A little rice-cake hollowness, but a good approximation—though does not improve as it warms. Nicely peppery finish, though woody linger is eh.

Sharp and spritely sour aroma. Muddled red-brown, a blink of head. Bready & mellow, v harmonious fruit work: a nibble of cran with a full ripe cherry, and a blackcurrant pinch at the back. Mild tart finish. Satisfying easy drinker w lots to consider

Light copper, thin cold haze. Tufty head persistent head, sweet creamy aroma. Lovely texture, surprisingly hearty, pleasant mellow maltiness—honey, bread crust, hints of stone fruit and yam. Tidy, grassy finish, lacy lingering bitter. Would drink again.

Murky dark brown, tan head, big roasty aroma. Feisty—clawing, bitter over-roasted oils. Some cocoa sweetness, but overrun by an angry dark-roast cold brew. Finishes with a burnt-to-smoke rustic bread. Opinionated. Curious to see how it’d do in a barrel.

Hazy gold-orange, lacy white head. Intriguing aroma—hempseed, bitter lime. Smooth, bright—quick citrus splash, honeydew melon, mild dankness. Not sure on strawberry—maybe? Gentle α-acid pinch at the end, lingering, slightly garlic. Idiosyncratic. Good.

Hazy but not horribly so, predominantly but overwhelmingly OJ. Creamy peach mango undertones a more than a bit of bite at the end, especially as it warms. Better than most of the style.

2.5, legit. No notes.
cosmo is drinking a Neon Nights by Lamplighter Brewing Co. at Swampview Manor
Not quite pulpy orange-yellow, floofy white head. Creamy citrus aroma. Rich, thick—right when you think it’s going full OJ, breaks to a grassy, herbal bitter. Peachy undertones throughout, almost peppery at the end. Cacophonous. Strong.

Much better in a glass. Hazy yellow gold, fast-fading tufty white head. Intriguing aroma—fresh bread with hemp and orange soda. Sweet, graham-crackery, orange zest with a nice, grassy, bitter finish.
Purchased at Lincoln Liquors
Little harder to hide the non-barley in this style, though a good effort. Honey sweet start, a little thin after, quite a bit of corn-mush toward the end. Tighten that up with a nice grassy, peppery hop an we could be in business.
