I’m not sure this is better than Loose Leaf anymore.

Cryo IPA by Odell Brewing Co.

cosmo is drinking a Cryo IPA by Odell Brewing Co. at SufferHouse

Clear, bright, grassy, punchy. Lemon rind, unripe papaya, pithy, bitter. A touch bilious. Almost funky finish. Unique, a lot of flavor for the body, but maybe still hot day drinkable.

Mind Haze by Firestone Walker Brewing Company

cosmo is drinking a Mind Haze by Firestone Walker Brewing Company at SufferHouse

Hazy, tart stone fruit aroma. Sloshy—pithy grapefruit, maybe a little muddled mango and unripe pineapple. Lightly hazy mouthfeel, bitter/tart finish, mercifully little OJ.

Propagator Series: Motueka by Firestone Walker Brewing Company

Responsibly hazy. Bitter to tart aroma, murky guava, grapefruit skin. Lemongrassy finish, fades a bit herbal. Citrusy, but not a ton of the advertised tangerine. Pairs well with Andrew B. bugging out…again.

Luponic Distortion: IPA Series No. 015 by Firestone Walker Brewing Company

cosmo is drinking a Luponic Distortion: IPA Series No. 015 by Firestone Walker Brewing Company at SufferHouse

Very easy—light, snappy, clear gold color, thin, sweet straw aromas, open, smooth palate little bit of lychee tartness but a kinda drowned out by my General Tso’s. Crisp, dry, mild bitter finish. Could be a great trail beer as the weather warms up.

Voodoo Ranger American Haze by New Belgium Brewing Company

Hazy, but quite thin bodied. A little guava and grapefruit pith. Quite mellow, lightly bitter but a very easy finish—watery, honestly. But you could pound these were you so inclined.

Voodoo Ranger Starship IPA by New Belgium Brewing Company

cosmo is drinking a Voodoo Ranger Starship IPA by New Belgium Brewing Company at SufferHouse

Been making my way through a sixer. Crisp, soft grapefruit in a thick, tart hoppy bitter. But gets strong and progressively worse aftertaste as it warms—kind of a sandy, funky waxiness. Better cooler.

Less congested now—softer subtler start, sweet, hazy, good light green bitterness toward the end. Drinkable by the boot, for sure.

Got a little honey, crisp, green, dry. Cold is getting pretty bad so it’s tough to tell. Will revisit.

Peach Pale Ale by Lone Tree Brewing Company

cosmo is drinking a Peach Pale Ale by Lone Tree Brewing Company at SufferHouse

Clear, light, a little bit of bitter, than just a waft of light peachiness. Peach is well applied, but too light for an English pale, not really strong enough an APA. On the whole very quiet. Needs a megaphone.

Stone Ghost Hammer IPA by Stone Brewing

cosmo is drinking a Stone Ghost Hammer IPA by Stone Brewing at SufferHouse

Tough one to sum up. A lot happening at very subtle levels. Cream & ribbon candy aroma, orange zest, a very leathery bitter finish, but not super forceful. There’s a mellowness to it—probably the least “Stone”-tasting of their IPAs I’ve had. Good, tho

No OJ of any kind. Smooth, dry, clean non-syrupy coffee—like a nitro cold brew dark roast. Light burst of maple, barely sweet. Nicely toasty malt, too, but mid-bodies & very drinkable for all the goings on. At
