Comparison of 2023 Eagle Rare, 2023 regular, and 2022 regular - 2023 standard is dark, rich, and chocolatey. Seems thinner than previous years, but flavor is there. I do like the draft better (had from 2 sources on 2 coasts)

Comparison of 2023 Eagle Rare, 2023 regular, and 2022 regular - ER not as sark/chocolatey as the 2023/2023 standard. The bourbon flavor comes through better/more clear and with a nice and interesting flavor. Yum

Does not seem as thick as previous years, but the flavor is still there kinda scary that 12.3% is this easy to drink. Glad I got a case.

Cool, clear, crisp, and lightly flavored. I think if I was a pilsner drinker I’d like this one. No rating as I’m not a fan of pilsners and don’t rate beers outside my wheelhouse… but I am going to finish drinking it.

Fruity in a kind of odd way. Not bad, but not great fruitiness. Wondering if it is the thiolized yeast? Don’t know as I had to look that word up. As the thiolized yeast is called Cosmic Punch I’m leaning that way. Lots of flavor for a 5% beer though.

Aged a touch too long - hints of that in the aroma and to a lesser level the taste.- but the desired/intended flavors come out, including the grapes. First “how did this thing that should it be aged age” bottle I have not drain-poured. (Unfair to rate)
