This beer pairs nicely with a Millies ice cream. Can’t say you see too many brewers out there making cascadian dark ales these days. Gotta appreciate the ones that do. This one is solid and I would definitely recommend it to those who enjoy the style.

Earned the Taster, Please (Level 27) badge!

Solid Kolsch from the guys at East End. There is nothing special going on here and that’s absolutely ok. This is your standard German style done right. Big malty body and crisp flavors leave you feeling satisfied. Good stuff!

What a fun beer this is! Normally when you find spruce tips in a beer, the style is an IPA. This gose introduces a little spruce-i-ness to the standard flavors. Love the experimental nature of this beer. Highly recommend giving it a go!

You really can’t go wrong with a pumpkin cheesecake beer. I mean, we all love pumpkin, and we all love cheesecake, right? So marry the two up and let’s make some beautiful music together. That’s what Acclamation did and it definitely works!

Another solid pumpkin ale from the folks at Inner Groove. You can taste all of the pumpkin flavors in every sip of this one. Great name and great beer. This is actually a pumpkin ale that I would rock a 4pk of. Tasty stuff!

Allusion beers are usually solid enough. This pumpkin ale fits the bill. Was a little surprised at the 8.6% ABV on this one, but quickly chose to ignore it. Glad I did as this one has a bold pumpkin flavor and tasted super smooth. Solid beer!

All of the Shamans are so good, but this one has to be at the top of the list. It’s just packed full of berry flavor and oh so smooth. Really enjoyed it. This is the perfect summer, fall, winter, spring sour. Tasty tasty tasty.

Another phenomenal barrel aged brew. This Barleywine drinks more like a stout than anything, but it is tasty. You definitely can taste the nuttiness of it from the pecans and macadamia nuts. Big and boozy, this one can sneak up on you.

I’ve never had a BYS beer before, but all I can say is H.O.L.Y.S.H.I.T. This is probably one of the best barrel aged beers I’ve ever had. It’s as close to perfect as you can get. Great flavor from the bourbon, coconut, and chocolate. Loved it!

Love it when a local brewery knows how to brew an Oktoberfest beer. This beer is super solid and has a nice malty backbone. Really enjoyed sipping on this one. If it wasn’t a beerfest, I definitely would have went back for more.

Elliott Ness on steroids right here. I can’t recall the last time that I have had a barrel aged amber lager (if ever). This one is legit though. Beer is super smooth with a big, bold body. ABV will sneak up on you a bit, but we’ll worth it IMO.

This. Beer. Rules. Dopplebocks are intense on their own, but this beer ups the ante. Age this guy in whiskey barrels and get ready for some fun. Beer is smooth, packed full of flavor, and accentuates the bourbon nicely. Really enjoyed this one!
