This bottle is only a year old but the Brett has matured and had really given this beer a very nice funk. The underlying base beer is on remarkable but you don't really care when you've got this George Clinton funkadelicness going on in your mouth.

I don't know. It's dark, slightly sweet and yeah I suppose it tastes a bit like German chocolate cake. But I wasn't really excited about drinking it.

Hazy, kind of fruit loop tasting but has an ashy hop profile on the finish. I think the weight of the beer could be a little bit heavier and with any triple IPA needs to have some of that caramel malt complimenting the hop profile.

This one was a lot better than the caramel. The coffee is obviously very fresh and allows the coconut and exotic sugars to come through. I like this one a lot.

A very malt forward doppelbach with some booziness within the malty backbone. A very interesting beer because the booziness is very intermingled with the multi structure that blankets your palate.

This beer was legit!! Dank as F on the nose, plenty of that Carmel malt you want with this style and the hops were well balanced and a nice medium mouth. I do think it was leaning more towards a DIPA vs a TRIPA.

Mr. Liquid Bread: I'll tell you what, my favorite non ba base Stout is Oskar Blues Ten Fidy. I was in gr today and thought I could pick some up at horrocks but they were out. Got some at the horrocks in Lansing a couple weeks ago. Love that shit.

Mr. Liquid Bread: That's a good one too. I just think Ten Fidy is like so deep, dark and like a 10-year-old motor oil that's been pulled out of a 1986 LeBaron. It puts hair on your chest. Expedition is good but I think it's more refined.

Just because your beer is a high ABV doesn't mean that it's a TIPA. Don't get me wrong, this beer is a nice high ABV hazy ipa. There's some sweetness to it but not from the malt base that you would necessarily need for the hop level of a TIPA.

Wow! This is boozy after 6/7 years. It almost tastes reminiscent of an old bottle of Dogfish Head 120 Minute. I totally wouldn't think this was a brown ale at all, but more of a malty barleywine.
