Hello buckwheat, my old friend! While this is no Le Sarrasin, it’s still a wonderful usage of this unique addition. Great flavor, decently lactic, lots of hay / buckwheat flavor, and a dry as fuck finish. Enjoyable, but not my favorite.
Balaton on fleek, on the nose as it opens up and on the palate from first sip through the finish - just sooo much cinnamon as if it was added, with subtle tartness, nice sweetness, and a great vinous finish amidst a lasting body.
Fuckkkkk me running, this is the real fucking deal! Nectarine all over this indulgent, complex wine barrel-aged saison. Barely lactic, but certainly acidic - especially in back, yet super smooth, superb body, and just generally a delicious ale. Wow.
Dang, this is a bomb helles, and it’s a great exposure to this awesome, new-to-me space. These guys crush pretty much everything they put their minds to, from lagers, to hops, to stouts, to saisons (duh).Earned the Hella Delicious! (Level 14) badge!
