Canned last Friday. Smooth juicy malt base. Luplin powder certainly does it’s job. Lovely pineapple note initially. Then big skunky ganja vibes. Fruity bitter finish that actually catches on the back of the throat.

My first Fantome. White pepper, apple & pear. Light yet fulsome. Bit funk. Sweet saison spices. Moreish finish.

Thinning the cellar! Dark mahogany, fluffy tan head. Massive Frangelico & Drambuie aroma. Overwhelmingly boozy taste. Syrupy hazelnut. Very little in the way of luscious stout notes. A rare McLeods Smugglers miss for me.

Wow! Perfect finish to another astonishing Kirimete. Mahogany pour, tan head. Calvados, baking spice, apple strudel nose. Those flavours come through on the palate. Massively flavourful. Perfect apple strudel notes. Fulsome mouthfeel moreish finish

Had this in the fridge awaiting the appropriate moment. Humid official start to the hols is just right! Straw colour, lively w/ fluffy head. Orange & grass notes. Rounded profile that tends to pale ale. Lovely orange creamsicle note & little herbal bitter

Cellared for a bit & settled down beautifully. Rounded & balanced. Fleshy saison vibe. Hops are more floral. Barrel vanillans are subtle but underpinning the beer beautifully.

Quietly beautiful. Blushing apricot pink in the glasses. Clean, tart raspberry vinegar aroma. Taste is balanced yet complex. Lovely peach & raspberry notes to start. Touch of white bun. Fruity tartness thru middle and finish. Touch of oak.

Stunning beer. Pours with perfect light gold clarity, fluffy white head. Great Citra vibe on the nose; dank citrus, hint of savoury & licentious perspiration. Huge fruity hop smash initially. Light, softly supportive malt cushion. Sweet, tropical, citrus

Seems a darker pour from the can than tap earlier today. Also richer and rounded. Juicy, pillowy malt cushion. Hops & Yuzu juicier, less pith; more sweet squeezed juice. Delicious juicy mouthfeel. Sweeter juicy lime-ade, light bitter long finish.

Enjoyed immensely at the taproom last Sat & tasting good from can. Orange gold, head dissipates quickly. Aroma a heady mix of citrus, tropics & fresh cut green garlic chive. Lean but juicy malt base a showcase for those slightly savoury fruity Citra hops

Wow! I’ve never had a beer that fitted into the BJCP guidelines perfectly. Mahogany, tan head. Dark toast, toasted macadamia toffee aroma. Sweet complexity of dark nutty toffee, dark berries. Slight spiced hop notes. Wonderful lingering moreish finish

It’s a day for it! Typical GP beer, in that there’s always that little bit extra going on. Looks like a glass of peach juice. Peach pit & white oak aroma. Taste is layered. Ripe peach, hint of tart. Lactose is subtle. Oak on the sides & a kiss of funk.

Probably my fave of the recent Trilliums. Galaxy seems to suit the style. Aroma of squished ripe pine & mango. Body is a bit lighter, which I prefer. Mouthfeel resembles overripe pineapple; slightly spritzy. Naturally, big pineapple, melon & zesty citrus

Jolly good Xmas drinking. Syrupy brown bread colour. Aroma of treacle Xmas cake. All comes together on the palate. Rich, dark fruit Xmas cake, just a hint of smokiness. Nice length

Autumnal wee drop on a gorgeous sunny autumn arvo. Pours a murky brown. Very fruity nose. Quite a light body. Hops are subtle given the number of them! Mild fresh tropical fruits & hint of sweet spice. Vaguely bitter finish. More a red ale than IPA imo

Almost certainly not the NEIPA the brewer intended but a brilliant error imo. More an unfiltered IPA. Aroma of Sauvin savoury & berry, green tropical notes. Lean yet juicy malt base. Brilliant juicy hops. Gooseberry, just about ripe tropical fruits.

From the launch in Feb, I’ve drunk more of this than any Epic release in a decade. Slightly leaner malt bill really makes the beer. Allows the hops to shine. Classic WC citrus, resin notes, Citra savoury and a great medium bitter; very long finish

Very fruity, much drinkable hazy IPA. Simply unfiltered, not overly hazy. Hops skate nicely on a bouncy malt base. Added fruits come through nicely in the middle. Rounded mouthfeel & v good bitter length. This is made for copious outdoor summer drinking
