This is just a malty eisbock base (would also accept dopplebock here, its a little syrupy but otherwise very close to a dopplebock) with a lovely pear kiss to finish. Works nicely, I dug it.

Surprisingly, the hazelnut is the dominant flavor (I know, Horus newbie). Otherwise a nice sweet stout, surprisingly thin in body but that hazelnut is terrific

This is really lovely, lightly sweet smoke up front into slightly deeper lingering smoke from the tea.

Dried cherries bordering on cough syrup, light tobacco complements well, aggressive. Really tasty, love an aggressive beer with a tobacco note

I see why people complain about this being a sour but Fred is a delicate beer with lots of fruity notes. Carb throws one off a get but overall effect is like a fruity strong ale. Lots of stone fruit. Interesting
