First thoughts: my least favourite of the stouts we tried tonight, but I only got a few sips. The sherry impact played weird with the coffee in my opinion, creating like a sour espresso pull kind of character. Maybe I’d like it more over a full glass.

First thoughts: smooth and swirling mass of rich chocolaty notes laced with coconut, faint banana concentrate, Jamaican rum barrel impact to tie all that together. Strong 4.25, but not a game-changer.

First thoughts: really didn’t feel like the matcha came through a whole lot, such a delicate earthiness doesn’t seem like the most promising adjunct to stand up to this style. Nice enough though: vanilla, decent bitterness. Perfumy nose or someone nearby?

First thoughts: only got a few tastes because we were trying to cover a lot of ground, but GOOD LORD I gotta track down a full bottle. Really brought the heat (literally) to fulfill my chili stout dreams. Perfect balance of sweetness, spice, dry fruit.
