The celebration brew for our Batch # 3000.

Ingredienser: Vand. Bygmalt: Pilsner, Munich. Havremalt. Hvedemalt. Humle: Columbus, Idaho 7, Sabro, Simcoe, Amarillo, Sorachi Ace. Gær: London Fog.

It seems like only yesterday when we released Batch 1000, a beer that turned out to be one of our most successful IPAs ever, and a beer which seems to have a cult following that insist on us bringing it back – which we have done, several times. And before that, there was Batch One and Batch 500 in what now seems like ancient times, and later Batch 2000 followed. But now we're already at Batch 3000. We chose some of our favorite hops, some of which you may recognize from Batch 1000 and used them in a fashionably hazy IPA. But a BIG IPA.
We would love to dedicate this beer to the true Amager Bryghus fans. To those who show up at our events whether at the brewery or at festivals all across the world, and those that appreciate our beers and what we stand for. Those that understand genuine and constant quality and aren't prone to chasing cheap thrills or the most recent fad around the corner. To those who actually buy our beers – more than once. Dudes and dudettes, we salute you. And as we have said so many times before, you made us what we are - and we wouldn't be here without you. Thank you!

Our Congruity series harnesses the art of blending and collaboration to create a beer that transcends its individual elements. In May 2022, we invited our esteemed friends from Bofkont and Tommie Sjef to join us in Copenhagen along with base beer from what they considered to be their finest barrels, and we contributed a special blend of our one- and two-year-old Danish Wild Ale. A methodical blending and tasting session followed, where we eventually found a blend that cohesively showcases the best of each of our beers. This bottle is a combination of equal portions of the blend that were aged in Moscatel de Setúbal barrels from Portugal and Premier Cru wine barrels from Bordeaux, France for 16 months before bottling. Our Sunstead series captures the essence of perfectly ripe stone fruits, allowing us to savor the warm flavors of summer all year long. The base beer is a blend of one, two and three-year-old Danish Wild Ales aged in Chardonnay and Monbazillac barrels. We racked this onto freshly destoned and crushed white nectarines at a rate of over 600 grams of nectarines per liter, and left it to macerate with the fruit for over a month before bottling. This complex, soft and juicy beer tastes almost like biting into a fragrant nectarine, transporting you back to the high days of summer no matter when you drink it. Read Less

Since the start of Bokke (reyder) in 2013 I started working with local wineries to source barrels
and grapes. From Winery Genoels-Elderen I get some chardonnay and pinot noir barrels
every autumn. Aside from making wine, they also have a side project of making grappa from
the chardonnay pomace, which they call Levenswater. Levenswater is aged in barrels under
the old castle, which dates back to 1859. It is normally aged up to 8 years and then bottled. In
2017 they found some forgotten barrels in the cellar, which were filled in 2003, so they aged
for 14 years, which led to a truly extravagant version of the Levenswater. I acquired that
barrel, in which the beer Barrique Levenswater 2017 was made. The barrel was so intense,
that it was suitable for another beer, so in March 2018 I filled the barrel with lambics brewed
in 2015, 2016 and 2017. After another one and a half year of aging in the Levenswater barrel,
the beer picked up a massive Levenswater character. To blend it into a balanced composition,
it was further blended with lambics brewed in 2016 and 2017 which were aged in chardonnay
barrels from the same winery. An intense Levenswater character, and the brightness from the
chardonnay barrel.

An Imperial Baltic Porter as dark as the Estonian winter nights. Strong enough to keep you warm through the cold evenings.

Taste: A rich body comes through at first. Initially the espresso-like acidity is balanced by a sweet taste of caramelised toffee. As your glass warms up you should expect to taste redcurrant, mixed with a dark chocolate, washed down with a slight alcoholic warmth.

Appearance: Pitch black - as dark as the night sky, with an opaque brown head.

Nose: A clean burnt sugar dominates, immediately giving way to rich dark fruits - plums, raisin, and fresh cranberries. Eventually, a roasted smokiness emerges, like a distant bonfire on the horizon.

Malts: Pale ale, Munich, Carafa II Special, Special B, Chocolate malt, Crystal 300, Demerara sugar

Hops: Magnum, Northern brewer

The Original Schlenkerla Lentbeer is an unfiltered smokebeer, brewed in accordance with the Bavarian Purity Law of 1516. Bottom-fermenting yeast gives the reddish brown lentbeer a natural cloudiness. Its smoky aroma is already noticeable in the smell, combined with a fine hoppy note. In the drink the fullbodied, highly drinkable lentbeer shows its strong malty flavour, rounded up with the smokey taste and a light bitterness.
