Starts with a musty nutty note which reminds me of grape pits, nutmeg and sherry (Oloroso)! A lot of wood and funk, but still quite refreshing with notes of citrus and grapes..

So much more smooth already after one year! Malty, floral, old hops, wood and some fruity notes of mandarin, orange and apricot.. Bitterness has faded a bit giving some room for the sweetness!

In vergelijking met 2018: een stuk minder koffie en mist daardoor ook het zuurtje en fruitigheid.. Zoeter met heel wat meer chocolade en karamel aanwezig, voller en dezelfde romigheid! Het geheel sluit net wat beter aan op het Whiskybarrel!

Redelijk stevig in de whisky zonder echt boozy te zijn! Behoorlijk wat koffie met roast, bijna espresso-achtig! Een typische fruitigheid van de koffie met daarbij een aanwezig zuurtje, wat de droogheid van de roast balanceerd..
