Welcome back to our original barleywine, Forgotten Brilliance. As a tribute to the big, hoppy American barleywines as well as vintage English ales of yore, our third rendition of this ale features Cascade and Strata hops over a hearty canvas of Maris Otter and English crystal malts. Undergoing a two-hour boil, this beauty was brewed with great intention: Drink it fresh and relish its hoppy, bitter characteristics, or enjoy it later, as it will age gracefully for years to come. Complex and bold, flavors of rich caramel and almond paste intermingle with floral and toasted bread notes. The wait is over... batch #6 of our Méthode Traditionnelle (M.T. III) is here! This blend of one-, two-, and three-year-old spontaneously fermented ales was produced in San Diego county and is inspired by the Belgian process of making traditional lambic. California-grown pilsner malt and raw, unmalted wheat create the foundation of this blend, which was inoculated solely by wild yeast and microorganisms indigenous to the Miramar area and Cuyamaca Rancho State Park. Warm-aged hops added to the boil provide aromas of barnyard up front, with red pomme fruit and grapefruit expression close to follow. Tastes of funk, bitter grapefruit, and toasted wheat bread practically dance on your tongue, followed by a smooth and refined finish that is both unique and refreshing. Read Less

Introducing Citra Spree, the newest murky IPA to grace our lineup. We crafted this beer with all Citra hops—Citra and Citra Cryo—allowing the beautiful hop's notes to take center stage. The Citra Cryo is from our Washington hop partners who prioritize biodiversity and sustainability: Double R Ranches, who cultivated the hops next to their farm's pollinator habitat, and Yakima Chief Hops, who then processed them with their proprietary cryogenic hop-processing technology (resulting in a product with less environmental impact than regular hops).
