In 2015 verloor de ‘Beer Geeks’ Facebook-groep een prominent lid aan de spierziekte ALS, waarop er in 2018 werd besloten een bier te brouwen met zoveel mogelijk Nederlandse brouwerijen. De totale opbrengst is voor Stichting ALS. Sinds dat jaar wordt er ieder jaar de ‘Beer Geeks Beat ALS’ actie georganiseerd door dit fanatieke clubje biergekkies, met elk jaar een ander bier.

Dit heeft inmiddels geresulteerd in meer dan 300.000 euro voor Stichting ALS.

Wat je nu in je handen hebt is dit jaars bier! Helaas nog steeds nodig aangezien er nog geen medicijn of remedie is tegen deze dodelijke spierziekte. De Beer Geeks zullen niet stoppen voordat ALS de wereld uit is.

Een imperial weizen, gebrouwen met sinaasappel extract en Palo Santo-hout. Een collaboration van 84 Nederlandse brouwerijen. De bierwereld verenigt tegen deze vreselijke ziekte! Read Less
