Hoppy Bone Crusher by Darling Brew

Canadianbeerblogger is drinking a Hoppy Bone Crusher by Darling Brew at Pretoria

Can Can

Not a bad beer here. The spice seems to be the dominant flavour on this one with hints of citrus and some graininess on the front end.

Gusher in opening, tremendous amount of sediment at the bottom of the bottle, but considering this was expired as well, wasn’t too bad.

Not a bad brew, not overly memorable but has drinkability to it. The honey addition to the beer is the lone bright spot here.

Such a well done beer here. Underlying aspects of a Pilsner with the added funkiness from the Brett makes this a complex and tasty treat!

One of the better brews I’ve had from Cockpit. Aroma reminiscent of an English IPA. Very mellow flavour throughout. It’s ok.

Tea stands out...and that’s it. Slight sourness on the back end. I remember this being better on tap. Perhaps an infected bottle.

So I tried this in bottle format. Smelled good, taste had a tinny, vinegar sourness from start to finish. Had to drain pour it.
