Quite nicely balanced coconut and quite a rich dessert stout flavour. Still not hugely on the coconut train but quite liked this one.

Ronseal stuff. Delivers a lot of what it says. Especially the lime finish. A bit oddly grassy. But very impressively hoppy for the strength.

There’s a lot in this. Big mix of flavours. All sorts of hoppy. Finish is a bit dry and bitter for me to love it but it’s undeniably good and wonderfully named.

Good stuff. Smooth and nicely balanced. Slightly sweet grassiness with a little bitter edge to the finish. Flew down very easily with the rugby.

Flavours work. Quite oily slick. More apricot than brandy but both there and they’re really nice with the rich stout.

Haven’t had Overtone hoppy goodness in a while. They remain impressively dependable. Not a hop mix that drives me wild. Quite earthy fruitiness. But undeniably a cracking DIPA.

LCI from Super Bowl night. Proper bourbon boozy. Nice barrel-aging. Pairs beautifully with late night American traditions. A bit on the pricy side because there are local versions with all the booze. But I’d have more of these in America.

Definitely thinner than the norm but a cracking medley of flavours. Lovely mix of booze. Some chocolate, raisin fruity and a bit smoky.

Quite a soft one in my book. Easy drinking and nicely smooth. Cheers to Seabass S. for providing the start to my Super Bowl drinking.

A way off Cloudwater’s more exciting offerings but punches well above its 4%. Citrusy and very drinkable. Nice start to the rugby watching.

Lovely sweet stout flavour but for the strength I found it a little light. A bit slick and not much booze.

Much more like it. Heavier and really delivers the woody chocolate CCC vibe. It’s a slightly strange taste but it works. Not sure I’d want more than 330ml. But enjoyed this. The best of the 2023 CCC by an embarrassingly long way.

Rated-for-the-strength and against the name. How you can call something soft and fruity and a bit watery like this a “Hop Frenzy” must be some sort of sarcastic joke. It’s easy drinking but a bit feeble for the strength.

Not rating this one. I’m clearly way off the consensus taste. Baffled by the love for not-beer like this. Like a weak funky Vimto to me.

Rated-for-the-strength. Enjoyed every sip of this. Very pure cocoa nib stout. Ronseal stuff. But for 10.5% you can get much heavier hitting stuff.

Been a while since a CW single hop DIPA. There’s something about the fruity coconut of Sabro that always comes across a bit soapy to me. Still a cracking beer. Beautifully done. Lovely hoppy DIPA despite the hints of soap.

Nice that there’s still some good stuff coming from NM. Big flavour DIPA. The stone fruit is lovely. The bite takes a little getting used to. Best thing I’ve had from NM is ages. Be worth them keeping going for another 10 years for beers like this.

Still not-beer but surprisingly better than the Peach version. Mainly UmBongo-esque tropical juice but I think there’s still a hint of beer here. Expected worse.

Earned the Highlander (Level 63) badge!

CW still rolling out these crackers. Smooth juicy hops. I’d have this again. For 6% it’s still cracking.
