Bitter and roasty aroma with coffee. Sharp up front with very little sweetness to balance out the heavy roast. Getting almost char and light peat/ash. Feels thin and one dimensional due to the lacking sweetness. The bitterness lingers for too long IMO.

Intense black tea on the nose as the can is opened. Black tea up front as well with medium bitterness, cantaloupe and some grapefruit and pine. Expected more caramel, but it balanced against the more pale malts. I must say I'm impressed. Well done.
