Wonderful barrel character and vanilla on the nose. Vanilla enhances sweetness but the base, while big, isn't cloying. Decadence but staying inside the lines. Barrel influence nicely executed, fully present but not overriding or hot.

Breaking 5 months of direct contact for covid to accommodate wildfire evac friends, worth breaking the untapped seal too. Gin barrel eh, think I ultimately prefer the original but this is a wonderful riff on it.
