Finally trying my first "cold IPA". Floral, orange notes. Finishes dry. Very smooth.
John D is drinking a Salem by Helltown Brewing at Mount Savage
Medium body. Grapefruit notes dominate along with juicy citrusy notes. Dry on the end. Solid! I've never had a bad beer from Helltown. MD distribution is great!
John D is drinking a 8 Acres by Other Half Brewing Co. at Mount Savage
My first Other Half. The hype is real behind OH. So crushable for a DIPA. Creamy OJ, peppery, with a dry ending leaving you wanting more.
Derek Shaffer: Pumped you’re enjoying it!
John D: Derek S. This drinks like a session IPA. It's very good. Thanks a lot!
John D is drinking a Triple Barrel Big Bad Baptist (Release #3) by Epic Brewing Company at Mount Savage
On tap, this is one of my favorites. But this tastes just like the bottle of the Quad Barrel BBB. Definitely some off flavors. Tastes more..
Earned the Sky's the Limit (Level 51) badge!John D: ... like wine. I still have another bottle too. This is my 2nd barrel aged stout from Epic that has shit the bed. I'm very disappointed.
John D is drinking a Pacer IPA by Avery Brewing Co. at Mount Savage
Crisp, dry, citrus. My first, low calorie and/or diet IPA. The flavors were nice except it tasted watered down. Watered down too much IMO.
John D is drinking a Black Magick (aged in Woodford Reserve Double Oak Bourbon Barrels) by Voodoo Brewing Co. at Mount Savage
Cocoa, bourbon and oak on the nose. Sweet cocoa, bourbon, oak and vanilla notes dominate the palate. A great, surprising find on a Monday...
Purchased at Voodoo Homestead

Dakota Speir: Jealous!
John D is drinking a Pictavia by Allagash Brewing Company at Mount Savage
Vanilla, sweet, honey, oak and Belgian yeast notes. I enjoyed this way more than I expected. Tastes like a scotch/Belgian ale combo.
John D is drinking a Suddenly Comfy by Dogfish Head Craft Brewery at Mount Savage
Cinnamon, subtly sweet apple and creamy, vanilla notes dominate. Not bad but one bottle is enough. I will admit, I did feel comfy afterwards
John D is drinking a Brown Sugar Brown Cow by D9 Brewing Company at Mount Savage
Medium body. Cocoa and vanilla on the nose and following into the palate. Toasty, creamy, malty on the palate. Subtle sweet notes. First D9!
Earned the Photogenic Brew (Level 90) badge!John D is drinking a Dimensional Being - Tangerine/Apricot by Liquid Hero Brewery at Mount Savage
This would be great if it weren't for the overly carbonated and soapy notes.
John D is drinking a Cloudification by Liquid Hero Brewery at Mount Savage
I wish the freshest by July 15, 2019 date was printed on the bottom of the can. Very small and vertically on the side of the can. Dishwasher
Earned the Riding Steady (Level 97) badge!John D: ...Soapy on the nose. Overly carbonated. This is probably almost a year old and the taste reflects that.
John D is drinking a Joy by Oliver Brewing Co. at Mount Savage
An excellent sweet, milky stout! Coconut and cocoa on the nose. Almonds, cocoa, sugary milk on the palate. Very solid, unlike Ravens tonight
John D: ... As Joey Diaz might say, they sucked a bag of dicks.
John D is drinking a Never Gonnagetit³ by The Veil Brewing Co. at Mount Savage
I had 2 cans back to back. First was 1 year, 1 month and 1 day old. Held up very well! 2nd canned 04/23/19. Thanks Craiggrrrz! Both were....
Earned the Pucker Up (Level 43) badge! Earned the What Gose Round (Level 12) badge!John D: ... great. The blackberry notes were more stronger on the nose. But overall, raspberry dominates all the way. Salty and tart.
John D is drinking a WolfMother by Commonwealth Brewing Company at Mount Savage
Pineapple and orange juice notes dominate. A little too sweet IMO. Most common issue with TIPAs. Reminds me of Greenstone by Commonwealth.
Earned the Haze for Days (Level 20) badge!John D is drinking an A Good Problem To Have by Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company at Mount Savage
This is one dry and bitter son of a bitch! Piney and malty backbone. This reminds me of Shape of Hops to Come but more bitter.
Earned the Photogenic Brew (Level 89) badge!John D is drinking a Monasterium by Hysteria Brewing Company at Mount Savage
A cherry and sour bomb! A little too much cherry notes IMO. I might not even know this is a Belgian tripel if it weren't for the can.
Earned the Sky's the Limit (Level 50) badge!John D is drinking a Book of Nomad | Blue Blood by Graft Cider at Mount Savage
I'm surprised. It does remind me of a blue Icee. Especially,on the nose. Definitely more tart and salty on the palate. Guava stands out too!
This beer is constantly praised by the Fueled by Hops community. For a 30 pack @ $12.99, I had to give it a shot. It's not bad for a cheap lager. But it's no Narragansett.
