How can this beer be so underrated!?! This delicious Icelandic Pastry is amazingly well balanced and surprisingly not too sweet. It puts forward intense orange, maple & marshmallow flavors supported by a slick texture. Wow! A great find at MTL beer fest.

This one has the typical Tilquin signature. Flavor profile is characterized by a lovely blackberry presence & supported by a moderate acidity & some subtle oakey notes. Appealing deep orange/brown hazy body. One of my favorite Tilquin I've tasted to date.

I was expecting more out of this one. Appealing À La Fût signature nose, but not as tart as some of their other offerings. Lovely funk provided by the Brett yeasts and balanced with a light oakey feel & notes of moss & stone fruits.🤠

Another great find at Montreal Beer Fest 2022! This DIPA showcases some citrusy, grapefruity, zesty and slightly malty flavors along with a nice orange touch. Its medium body and lingering mouthfeel makes it nicely balanced & easy-drinking offering. 🍺

Another great Surtur iteration. This one features a heavy nose of Rhum to begin with. It is more subtle on the palate, though still present. Sweetness is moderate and texture is oily. Dry & bitter mouthfeel leading to a lingering and deep finish. 👍

Just sooo good! Intense BA feel supported by a rich oily texture. Prominent notes of wood, oak & roasted malt with subtle aromas of star anise. Super dry and bitter mouthfeel with a lingering finish. A solid beer not for the faint-hearted!

And yet, another oldschool offering from Foam Brewers. This one features a heavy tropical flavor profile with upfront pineapple notes and prominent malty aromas. It is surprisingly light-bodied and refreshing for such a high ABV beer. Not my type at all.
