Very subtle pine aroma. The body is light, but there’s a big sticky resiny note to the feel that holds it all together. There’s a subtle tropical sweetness under all that, but the resin & dry finish holds it all together, like a classic DIPA. Love it!

Boozy chocolate aroma is lovely. There’s a hint of vanilla, that brings out some sweetness. The carb is a bit low, the feel is soft & a bit woody. As it warms up a bit the marshmallow vanilla shines through a bit more. Lovely!

3rd & final cheers to Mike. We loved & miss you. This is a big old ale, with a rich plum & raisin aroma, followed by the same rich notes in the body that’s a bit lighter on feel than the aroma would imply. The finish is clean, with lingering raisin.
