Blueberry Spaceship Box by Superstition Meadery

Clint V. is drinking a Blueberry Spaceship Box by Superstition Meadery at Longtown

Blueberry and apple up front followed by a light fruit sweetness that fades faster toward the end. The dryness of the cider helps to cut the sweetness on the end and through the finish.

Oktoberfest by Yuengling Brewery

Clint V. is drinking an Oktoberfest by Yuengling Brewery at Longtown

After working in the yard and cleaning stuff up since we're getting closer to spring/lake season, I figured I would start cleaning up what was left in the fridge from September/October since we didn't come back down to the lake like we were expecting to.

Pineapple Van by Fair-Weather Friend

Clint V. is drinking a Pineapple Van by Fair-Weather Friend at Longtown

I think this is about 4 months old at this point, but I'm not 100% sure. The extra age on it, for an NEIPA, has toned down the coconut/pineapple flavors of the Sabro hops immensely and makes the malt more to the front instead of it being a juice bomb.

Solerafest by American Solera

Clint V. is drinking a Solerafest by American Solera at Longtown

It isn't as malt heavy and caramel sweet as the vast majority of Märzens which is a nice change of pace, and makes it much easier to drink. It is slightly over hopped for the style because there is a fruitiness to it that is not typically found in the...

Not a hint of wind and the water is still as can be, which is always nice when you're sitting on the porch at the lake.

Rye Red Ale by Main & Mill Brewing Company

Clint V. is drinking a Rye Red Ale by Main & Mill Brewing Company at Longtown

Light caramel up front with a mild toasted biscuit flavor. The hops are well balanced against the malt & also don't overwhelm the rye flavor toward the end. As it warms up the caramel sweetness & rye gives way to the malt through the first half & hops.

Nice Driveway by Torn Label Brewing Company

Clint V. is drinking a Nice Driveway by Torn Label Brewing Company at Longtown

Light-bodied up front but gets a bit heavier toward the finish. The Saaz hop bite hits about half way through. The one draw back is the sweetness that continues to build & lasts through the finish, which keeps the finish from being very clean and crisp.

Belgian Golden by Ozark Beer Company

Clint V. is drinking a Belgian Golden by Ozark Beer Company at Longtown

Whirlwind trip to Branson yesterday afternoon for work. Hit all three stores this morning, unloaded about 2 pallets worth of shirts total and organized the floor at each. Now it's time to enjoy a weekend at the lake.

König Eisbock by KC Bier Co.

Clint V. is drinking a König Eisbock by KC Bier Co. at Longtown

Bottled: 03/28/2023 When cold you get a light yeast flavor up front before the malt sweetness takes over midway through. As the beer warms the yeast comes out more on the aroma but fades to the back on the flavor & the malt sweetness comes forward.

Dashi by Broadway Brewery

Clint V. is drinking a Dashi by Broadway Brewery at Longtown

Light & very refreshing. A hint of tart lemon up front that quickly transitions into slightly sweet lemon rind, w/ a floral note that shows up about ⅔ the way. The rice helps dry out the finish along w/ the carbonation & keeps the sweetness balanced.

Peanut Butter and Jelly Squeeze! by Prairie Artisan Ales

Clint V. is drinking a Peanut Butter and Jelly Squeeze! by Prairie Artisan Ales at Longtown

A light tartness up front that last throughout backed up by a mildly sweet jelly flavor. The body of the beer is A LOT thicker than any other sour I've had. The roasted peanut is noticeable on the aroma for a few minutes after pouring it. The peanut...
