Another reminder of the moribund state of the UK scene. This makes all kinds of promises about thickness, tropics and freshness but doesn’t deliver. Better than some of the stuff I’ve had this evening but not one I’d revisit. We live in lean times.

Disappointing from a brewery who have done some really good stuff recently. 2 thinnies in a row this eve and I can feel my fury building. Why the fuck is it so difficult to brew thick beer?!

PI are such a lottery of a brewery. Unfortunately, this one is a losing ticket. I loved the original but this “rebrew” is thin, disjointed and overly wheaty. The curse of the rebrew continues. Really disappointing.

Very impressive for Drikbeer to deliver US beer so fresh it still has hopburn! This is an elite single hop Citra dipa. Chalky, dense and with a filthy, dirty slap on the finish. Absolutely loved this.

It’s too light on the body for me but the flavours are actually pretty good. I’ll always have a special place in my heart for garage as one of the OGs of the euro scene. Good to see them chucking out something decent.

Just as good second time round - this is how you use sabro to bring body without it dominating the flavour. PD have been quiet recently but this is a welcome return to form.

Typical of the US breweries the UK resellers bring over - pleasant but very one dimensional. It’s pretty old to be fair so, in that regard, it’s held up reasonably well.

Beer trade with Jan M. and you can’t do one of those without sampling the wares! Fidens continue to remember their former selves and this is really close to the OG level. Thick as tar, with Citra and Vic secret delivering delicious dirty fruit. Elite.
