Not blown away by it. Heavy on the hops and malt for a pilsner. Clarity is OK for a pilsner but could be a touch more clear. Very clean taste though with a dry finish. I don't really think of pilsners as something that you can't pound in 2 seconds.

It's weird but I kind of like it. Definitely a scotch ale, Definitely has the orange and ginger. IMO they Definitely don't work that well together, but it kind of works still? Idk. Not great but not terrible.

Starts out as a vodka shot and ends up as a drip-coffee poured over a mound of roughly-ground espresso roast, with pretty much linear progression between the two. Still, even unbalanced and as a non-coffee-drinker, that somehow mostly works.

Does what the Rhinegeist Truth was attempting, but does it better. A little hot but it fades, a little grassy but it levels off, and while the fruit elements aren’t as prominent it seems more integrated. Solid rather than amazing, but winner of flight.

Liking this a lot less as it goes. First sip was fine & now there’s some slight off-bacon weirdness in the background & the various fruitiness, bread, coriander, etc. that I expected seem disjointed. A high-profile miss.

Hitchcockian out-of-control carousel, flavor jumping from point to point like a Wonka gobstopper. Finishes on pine resin, but via rotating buffet of topicality, particularly mango & pineapple. Spikes hot at some moments; some alcohol lingers to the end.

A hoppy PNW wolf in Cincinnati sheep clothing. Pine and pith, alas not in that order, with grapefruit holding on until the end of the ride. Slight caramelly film at end. Starts great but trends down.
