Truly awesome. Key word: fresh. This is an ipa for lounging by the ocean. Plenty of hop action, but finishes like a chill wave receding into the ocean at sunset. Cape may always brings the quality, but this is one of their better ones.

Very unique flavor. Sweet, but far from overwhelming. Refined, yet curiously expansive. I could see how someone would say it’s just ok, but if this particular hop profile is your thing, you’ll love it. Also dogfish head is always good.

Less aggressive than most double iPas, but also retains a heady subtleness with a very specific N California flavor. True to its name, I could see this as the ultimate skiing beer. 7.7% - but not too heavy to need an hour long chair lift ride to enjoy.
