Great nose — fruity & spices without reminding me of “fall spices”. Love the tart taste, nice bold fruit but no sweetness. Cinnamon and peppers give it a touch of warmth on the tongue. One of the most interesting and complex sours I’ve ever had.

To their credit, the 8.2 ABV definitely makes it imperial. I tend to like regular plain-jane Wit’s, nice and mild and maybe citrusy. The heavy-handed pepper throws this off for me. But if pepper is your jam, then I’m sure this is great for you.
