2014. Nose is wonderful: slight sour and lots of barrel wood. Taste is a mix of sour balanced by slight red wine, with an oddly mellow, almost sweet finish.

Nose is so grassy I’m getting hayfever. Strong foam from a soft pour. Shocking sourness initially, esp for a golden. Label says to keep refrigerated, but CS had it shelved at room temp. Would felt guilty rating, because this tastes off.

Was not going to drink anything today after yesterday’s debauchery, but a friend brought this North Korean beer and I was stoked to get to try it! NK beer naming game is apparently weak. Flat, dark, and the nose of a Flanders red. Taste is that but with a slight sweetness and a slightly vinous quality. Dry finish, then mouthwatering linger. I like.

Pleasantly surprised. Spices are very mild: some cinnamon, some cardamom. And it gives some zest to what I think is a pretty standard base beer. Still surprised at how alcoholic Yeti tastes for less than 10%.
