Pours amber, hazy with a decent head. Unctuous dank hop fruitiness, heady and resinous with a good lingering bitterness on the finish. Perfectly balanced and decadent.

Pours a clear golden colour with a good head. Very light malt base with suggestions of Speyside whisky, spicy hop overtones and a light bitterness on the finish with a touch of sourness. Like a lower ABV Very Bad Elf, & similarly not a typical winter ale.

Pours a clear copper colour with a decent head. Dark malt and dank English hop flavours with a light bitterness on the finish. Perfectly acceptable session bitter.

Pours a slightly hazy copper colour with a more than generous head. So far, so good. Predominantly yeasty on the nose, only a suggestion of malt and hops on the palate with a distinct sourness. Either I'm coming down with Covid, or this is minging!

Pours dark amber, slightly hazy with a good head. Solid biscuity malt base with fruity and floral hop overtones, a smooth sherbetty mouthfeel and a lingering dry bitter finish. Another cracker from five kingdoms.

Pours a clear copper colour with a good head. A dry bitterness dominates with subtle cereal flavours underpinning dank, resinous hop overtones. Banana and plum fruitiness overly spiced. A sipper, not a gulper with the booziness evident. OK but not for me.

Pours slightly hazy, straw-coloured with a decent head. Instant fruity hop hit with a lingering dry bitterness. A bit thin on the mouthfeel - typical of GF ales. Drinkable but mediocre.

Pours bright and clear with a good head. Solid malt backbone with delicious overtones of fruity and floral hops, a sherbetty mouthfeel, and a touch of bitterness on the finish. A glorious golden ale 👍 Bottle shows 5%ABV cf. 4.5% on the listing.

Pours a clear amber with good carbonation and a decent head. Unmistakable Belgian yeast flavours at the forefront, developing fruity and spicy notes on the aftertaste. Slight bitterness, low sweetness. Hides its ABV well. Not bad for an Aldi impulse buy!
