New to me, Belgian Tripel. Light & bright. Floral, spicy hops are the star with an added sugar sweetness that compliments the malt. Light citrusy coriander & pepper.

The only one of their "Heron" trilogy I'd missed. This is a cold IPA, fermented warm but with lager yeast. Swimming in hop flavours from Mosaic Lupomax, Mosaic T90 & Centennial. Berry, citrus, tropical fruit & pine. Cereals & rice.

One of their core beer. Light & soft like a pale ale makes this highly crushable for a 6.8% IPA. Juicy upfront with a light piney dankness in the middle & a medium-dry finish. Sticky honey malt. Mosaic, Citra & Simcoe. Wheat subdues the bitterness

Hey, if you have a foeder, you're gonna use it. I love this style. This is cold fermented in a foeder which imparts subtle notes of wood. A prominent roasted grain, charred wood character, with light smokiness. Smooth, mellow, earthy. Chocolate, vanilla..

I'm tired of the kettle sours but have a weakness for creamsicles. Not quite the flavour I expected, however. Strong lactobacillus aroma & flavour tempered by orange juice added pre & post fermentation. Vanilla adds a creamy smoothness. Wheat & oats.

DBL Juicy by Category 12 Brewing

Rick Infanti is drinking a DBL Juicy by Category 12 Brewing at Isola di Birra

I missed this when it came out last fall. Light for the abv. Soft & juicy, as described. It uses Imperial Yeast's Juice strain that accentuates the 4 hop blend. Peach, orange, mango, berry. Light citrus zest bite in place of actual bitterness.
