Oh how I've missed the sharp bite of bourbon on the nose and in the body of beer. The bite offsets a mildly sweet chocolate and toffee experience. Best not to drink too slowly though, as the nose (only) reeks of rubbing alcohol as it warms up.

At room temp, very mildly sticky. Chalky cocoa taste dominates, with a soft marshmallow on the far far back end.

I don't know why, but I was expecting more cranberry (artificial), but what is here is a very faint natural cranberry balanced against a smooth pale ale. Super drinkable, albeit plain.

"This was a triumph. I'm making a note here: huge success. It's hard to overstate my satisfaction." Seriously one of the best N/A brews I've ever had. Cucumber sweetness full-on in nose and balanced by the tartness in the body. I want a keg of this.
