Request a DemoRobert Graham is drinking a Mix Down - Parellada i Sauvignon Blanc by Cervesa Màger at Heswall
Bought this in Madrid. Light, hints of apricot. Obviously some sourness, but it’s not overpowering. Quite a hefty chunk of the sourness is white wine sourness. This is moreish, fighting not to smash it down. It’s lovely, drinkable, balanced.

This feels like the sort of beer that deserves Christmas Day. Smooth, rich, lots of vanilla. Very light and drinkable. Dangerously so. Lovely balance. It is very very good, especially with no adjuncts. But if I blind tasted? It’s a good imp stout.

Earned the Sky's the Limit (Level 62) badge!Robert Graham is drinking an Earl Grey IPA by Marble Beers Ltd at Heswall
Somehow I have never checked in this beer. Was one of my favourites back in the day. The earl grey flavour is there in the dry finish. Orangey and full malty flavour. Starts off strong but gets lighter and lighter, moreish. Used to have more earl grey?

LCI.Bought this in San Sebastián. Smells amazing, all sorts of booze flavours coming from the glass. Smooth, rich, chocolatey but definitely with the boozy flavours there, keeps it light. Not as thick as others like it, but still caramelly great flavour.
Earned the Style Quest: Stout - Imperial / Double badge!Robert Graham is drinking a Lagonda by Marble Beers Ltd at Heswall
Mini cask from the brewery. Look how clear it is out the cask and even like it’s been through a sparkler! This is excellent. Light, gently hoppy and citrusy. Looking forward to having plenty more over Christmas.

Robert Graham is drinking an Anagram Blueberry Cheesecake Stout (2021) by Omnipollo at Heswall
Fruity, strawberry smell. Quite a thick berry yoghurt flavour, maple flavour in there too. Definitely got a tang to it, as well as a maple-like sweetness. Can’t work this out as to how good it is. Drinkable.

Earned the Better Together (Level 90) badge!Robert Graham is drinking a Persistence Is Utile: Bitter Chocolate Edition by Cloudwater Brew Co. at Heswall
Rich, chocolatey, smooth, quite a bit of coffee. It’s the fruity end of the chocolate and the coffee. You can tell it’s fruity coffee, seriously drinkable.

Robert Graham is drinking a Coolship Release Number 2 by Burning Sky Brewery at Heswall
Had this a few years ago and wasn’t great. But this is much better: oaky, earthy, not too sour, relatively bitter. Really drinkable. Flavour, but light enough to be drinkable.
Robert Graham is drinking an India Pale Ale Nelson Sauvin Amarillo by The Kernel Brewery at Heswall
This is good. Really juicy, grapey and moreish. Lots of earthy bitter flavours. A lot of the beers from The Kernel have been similar, but really like this.
Earned the 99 Bottles (Level 80) badge!Robert Graham is drinking an Agamemnon Maple Blueberry by Omnipollo at Heswall
The maple is boozy and rich but absolutely delicious. There is the fruity sourness in there from the blueberry. Drinkability is ridiculous, so light. Some cola flavours in there. Really like this, but expected something richer and more indulgent.

Robert Graham is drinking an India Pale Ale SCCANS by The Kernel Brewery at Heswall
Lots of hoppy flavour, but still so vintage Kernel. Probably can’t pull out the Nelson or Simcoe. Amarillo heavy.
Robert Graham is drinking an Oude Pinot Gris Tilquin à l'Ancienne by Gueuzerie Tilquin at Heswall
Technically had this before from the 19-20 vintage. Really earthy, really dry, lots of funk really mirroring the funky cheese we’ve got. Taking a lot of convincing for the others to like it, they appreciate with cheese. Earthy and funky. Not much grape.
Purchased at The Hop Locker
Robert Graham is drinking a Happy by Cloudwater Brew Co. at Heswall
Relatively bitter, some hints of fruity tropical flavour but more towards the bitter/earthy end. It is thin, but it’s tasty and sessionable.
Purchased at 73 Enid Street | Cloudwater London
Robert Graham is drinking a Pale Ale Centennial by The Kernel Brewery at Heswall
Earthy, a little soapy, orangey. Vintage stuff from The Kernel. Really drinkable, lovely earthy flavour.
Earned the 99 Bottles (Level 79) badge!Robert Graham is drinking a Lakeland Gold by Hawkshead Brewery at Heswall
Decent golden ale this. Bitter and earthy, relatively hoppy and rich. Pretty good.
LCI from last night. Another one brought back from San Sebastián, 2022. That’s good, really good. Smooth, chocolatey, hint of coffee, caramelly, just the right booze, drinkable.
