Despite a few different types of malt, dry hopping and not that little alcohol, it’s actually a little.. boring. Tastes more like a session almost. Impressive in its way, but not great

It’s always nice if a beer manages to surprise, and this combination of strong hops, firm bitter malts and a heavy barrel finish is certainly surprising. In a good way. Somehow all those strong flavors join up quite nicely, and almost smoothly.
