Pours dark & ruby-edged, balanced aromas of pitchy Pine & roasty malts, surprisingly soft-bodied & almost creamy, toasty, roasty maltiness, more resiny Conifer, and goodly bitter. May of been a touch long in the tooth, but this is right in my bullseye.
