Really nice. Tastes like a Civil beer. Sweet, easy triple. Nice. Could have given it a 4.50 maybe.

Pretty good. Kinda standard Veil ipa fare, but that’s ok. Good stuff. Enjoyed it.

Geof H. is drinking a Passive Regression by Wild East Brewing Co. at Haymaker Bar and Kitchen
Nothing but New Zealand hops, so the ale resonates on the tongue: flavors intense, sharp, operatic bitter, even fruity yet not ostentatiously so. A bitterness throngs throughout this, moving the object of the tongue from a gentle fruitiness to full bitter
Geof H. is drinking a Crucial TauntÂł by The Veil Brewing Co. at Haymaker Bar and Kitchen
A good and intense NEIPA. A cloudy yellow-orange liquor A nose sweet, dank, and a little urinous. The tongue sweet but then wandering into sweetness and ending up, unexpectedly with a finishing bitterness.
Geof H. is drinking a Zero Complaints by Cellarmaker Brewing Company at Haymaker Bar and Kitchen
Karen says, Gertrude Stein would approve. I say, think rose about Karen’s note. An intense papaya nose that replays on the nose. But ending with real hops at the back-back end. A true hybrid IPA but leaning East.
Geof H. is drinking an Abbaye de Saint Bon-Chien Grand Cru (2017) Mon coeur continuera de battre pour toi by Brasserie des Franches-Montagnes (BFM) at Haymaker Bar and Kitchen
That’s a beer never hold up well, yet they transform into something new—or old. This one has fallen after 5 years, its tartness now subtle, the barrel still there, the beer transforming into a subtler beast, still ready for our tongues. And quite woody.
Geof H. is drinking a Docs Draft Blackberry Currant by Warwick Valley Winery & Distillery at Haymaker Bar and Kitchen
Karen says, The Doctor is in the house. I say, A kind of light ruby liquor. Nose of sweetness and fruit, generically conceived. Lots of semi-sweetness and a little twinge of the flavor of blackcurrant.
Geof H. is drinking an Eclipse - Double Barrel Delight (2019) by FiftyFifty Brewing Co. at Haymaker Bar and Kitchen
Dark liquor & a big brown head to start. Nose of incipient sweetness & barreling. Lots of subdued roasts on the tongue rambling through the barrel notes. Tastes like an Eclipse, which makes me wonder about memory, but the taste & nose of this beer tell.
