Boysen Rebus by Grimm Artisanal Ales

Bryan Perrotti is drinking a Boysen Rebus by Grimm Artisanal Ales at Groton Town Forest

A special beer. A bit more sour than I prefer. Lots of complexity and subtle fruit. Grimm does great bottle conditioned sours.

Double Shot Wish List by Tree House Brewing Company

Bryan Perrotti is drinking a Double Shot Wish List by Tree House Brewing Company at Groton Town Forest

It’s over sweet, but complex and tasty. For the calories and booze, I should’ve just poured myself a glass of Jameson.

Purchased at Tree House Brewing Co. - Tewksbury

Cozy by Tree House Brewing Company

Bryan Perrotti is drinking a Cozy by Tree House Brewing Company at Groton Town Forest

Sweet and smooth. Nice smoke and chocolate flavor. Not too much booze despite the abv. (I wanted to start slow and it wasn’t until I drank half that I realized it was 9.2. )

Gave it another shot…the hop burn is mellowing out a bit…still not as good as 2018’s.

Spicy and bitter at the same time. It’s like TH made a salsa.

Epiphany by Foundation Brewing Company

The beer that started the revolution for me. As much as I like the superette at the top of Munjoy Hill, this can is a bit past prime.

Better than average DIPA. Don’t taste a lot of Pinot Noir grapes.

Mosaic taste: +5, thin: -1, unreadable label: -.25. Would drink again. At 5.3 it’s session-ish.

It’s good but not as good as the ratings suggest. Possibly a shelf life issue.

Inner Peace by Little Willow Brewing Company

Bryan Perrotti is drinking an Inner Peace by Little Willow Brewing Company at Groton Town Forest

It’s delicious, but I’m feeling like all the Little Willow beers taste the same. After back to back 8% DIPAs, I’m getting inner peace. I don’t know who tags flavor profile “crushable”, but this beer is not crushable.

Fluffy Tufts by Grimm Artisanal Ales

Nice sweetness after the hop assault. Mosaics are noticeable but the sabro covers them just a little. Enough to knock 1/2 point off an otherwise spectacular drink.
