Decided that this, like The Irish, deserves a 5. The fact that Hop Atomica has two 5/5 beers at launch is seriously impressive.

And on the third visit, I finished trying Hop Atomica's launch lineup. This tripel is beguiling in all the right ways - and if we end up having some cold fronts this spring, this'll be reaaaal handy as a warmer...

Multifaceted in the best way possible. You really get a stellar red wine -> caramel -> chestnut sequence with every sip.

Definitely more of a juicy/grapefruit-infused hazy than a sweet, candy-ish one. And that's the way I like it!

Works wonderfully as a classic, piney American IPA - but there's also a stellar underlying sweetness to it. And surprisingly, it's more berry-ish than honeyed. Definitely deserves to be a staple beer here.

Extremely impressive first beer here. The bitter backbone is surprising yet highly satisfying!
