Seriously an awesome and complex beer. Slightly dry with chocolate, coffee, chilies, a touch of vanilla, and grass. Delightful!

Loads of cinnamon up front that fades into a nice chili kick that lingers in the throat. Fun to try but definitely a one-and-done.

Weedy's Double IPA by Blue Pants Brewery

I really enjoyed this one. Solid malt backbone, but still hoppy enough to boarder on dank with a medium tropical fruit finish.

Snowbeard by Wiseacre Brewing Company

It's a Barleywine kind of day. Not a shabby example of the style, but not as robust as others. Doing the trick tonight, though.

Decent example of the style. Muted tartness with ample wheat make this stand out less than some others I've had, but it finishes really well

That just happened. Awesome post-prospectus defense beer. Thanks a ton, Alex! Wish I could have split this with you.

I just love this Belgian pale! One of Russian River's finer beers, in my opinion. Thanks again, Nate!

Unusually dank, in a Humboldt kind of way, and resiny in a hit your head on the dishwasher kind of way. Superb!

St. Stefanus Blonde by Brouwerij Van Steenberge

8-2012. Really a great blonde, if not a touch too sweet. Apple and honey on the front end, finished with plum and booze. Tasty and pretty.

Dinner by Maine Beer Company

Holy moly. This is right up there with Sip of Sunshine for me. May be the best DIPA I've ever had! Thanks, Brandon!

Sinister Vertigo Imperial Stout by Odd Side Ales

Ian is drinking a Sinister Vertigo Imperial Stout by Odd Side Ales at Fresh Hop, Old Sardis

This is surprisingly good. Reminds me of Dark Truth, which is a good thing. Low carb, dark fruit, chocolate, a touch of coffee and anise.

Writing my dissertation, watching the game, and polishing off a crowler of what I still think is my favorite session IPA. It takes talent!

Lives up to the name fairly well. Really a tasty IPA with a great name. By the way, not proper glassware, but definitely appropriate!

Pretty solid IIPA, but it has that Texas IPA malt profile that could be toned down. Otherwise, really good! Thanks Adam & Anna!

I really love the new cans, but I read about an ingredient change for this beer. Completely different than I remember, and not quite as good
