Mild pine and distant liquorice bathing in a sweet caramel sugary dark Bock with too little bitterness to set it off. Not too balanced.

Fresh petrol, grapefruit, pine, citrus fruits, dry piney flavour, substantial bitterness, fresh, great.

Ripe lemons, rich brioche bread, fresh mild spices, mild butter, initially weird phenols that luckily fade away, intensely bitter finish. Great Czech lager.

Fresh passion fruit, ripe pineapple, ripe peaches and mirabelles, slight pine, soft white bread, later moderate bitterness. Pronounced fruit character, balanced. Good.

Initially pleasant light piney lemons, pineapple, easy drinking, with sediment poured much harsher on bitterness, with slightly more ripe and darker yellow fruits added. Brewed for Aachen by Superfreunde Hamburg at Brewdog Berlin. Support your locals 🤪

Smoothly caramely, honey grainy, lemony, very round and outright authentic though not exactly fresh, but a great recognisable Czech Lager. Very good.

Light musty grapefruit, lighter wet leather with mildest funk, mellow woody, caramel tints, still a bit heavy and feeling not being strong after all these years, still just ok.

Ripe pears dipped in red wine, edgy Belgian yeast notes over grainy white treacle, mellow aged wood and slightly funky very mild complex lactic acidity. Vinous, prickly, deep complex balance. Very nice.

Dark milk chocolate with mild roast character, dark sweet bread, light herbal hops in the background, light prunes and ripe red apples, cleanish with a malty balance. Fine Baltic Porter.

Musty lemons and grapefruits, rough dry dusty grainy, funky fruity, rather intense acidity with a noticeable white wine vinegar touch, tart finish, well entertaining and complex. Thx Hannes J. !

Clean soft smoke on rustic wholegrain bread, then distant blackcurrants & black cherries, forest honey, floral & herbal hops with moderate bitterness to balance. Super soft pleasant intensity. When the local homebrew friend beats Spezial. Superb Rauchbock
