Tasted like water. Very bland.

Well since I checked in the wrong beer at FOBAB I guess I will check this in now!Earned the Draft City (Level 5) badge!
Pretty big, but still notably oyster stout. Drier than its weight suggest, flinty, and a little briny. Still not as good as Pat Green's.
I am astonished this beer doesn't have chilies in it. Drinks like a bell pepper. Check your roast, 3F.
Clayton M. is drinking a Vlad the Second (Order of the Dragon) Bourbon Barrel Aged Russian Imperial Stout With Raspberries (2017) by Hailstorm Brewing Co. at FoBAB - Festival of Wood and Barrel Aged Beer (2017)
Drinks like raspberry dessert topping. Ridiculous thicc.Earned the Sky's the Limit (Level 89) badge! Earned the Heavy Weight (Level 88) badge!
I do believe this approaches the platonic ideal for pastry stouts. 50% cake ingredients, 50% stout. Could go for a bit of cinnamon, maybe.Earned the To The Port (Level 3) badge!
I probably shouldn't be spending BAC on beers I can actually find, but this is still plenty solid.
Wow. This is how you do coffee in a stout. Aromatic and nuanced without the vegetable garbage. Excellent.Earned the 2X (Level 34) badge!
Does a little something that regular Narwhal don't. Still got that sharp, roasty bitterness, but it's softened up a touch by the cocococo.
Not bad, but better as a pun than a beer.
Their stout one gold, but this is great, too. Carmelly and round. Quite sweet, but well-balanced. Would drink again.Earned the Sky's the Limit (Level 90) badge!
