Brew No 412, 5/3-2009. BB 5/3-14 Almost portlike velvetness after years of storage. An outright classic. Has lost its stoutness, but remains a great barley wine.

Drink before 2015. OK? Coffee, roasted malt and a slightly lactic nose. Another contender for beer of the year. Loads of coffee, dark chocolate, licorice and roasted malt. Glorious.

Stunning. Slightly mouldy and Bretty aroma. A cross between Flemish Red, English Old Ale and Barley Wine. Matured to perfection. Could probably have kept for another 2-5 years.
