Drank this right after BBA Dark Star to compare. This one is more old school American impy in the vain of Hoppin' Frog. Leather, tobacco, licorice, 90% chocolate, charry. Could use a bit more depth from sweetness / a fudgier profile. Nice tho👌. 4.15

Also third time this year😅. Has developed quite a bit in just two weeks. In my opinion, still more like a modern WC IPA. Oily lemon and lime, bready, sweaty dank, kush, some grapefruit and apricot. A little less zingy compared to when just canned.

Third time this year👌. Maybe a little more depth this time. Toasted oats, rye, baker's chocolate, licorice, vanillin, woody, vanillin, some fudgey barrel. Creamy and silky texture. Very nice🌟. 4.4

Cool concept of different barrels. They just can't balance out the slightly too sweet base stout. Chocolate liquor, leathery barrel, slightly smokey, sugary sherry, sweet tobacco. Medium bodied, sticky texture. Tasty, but far from the US BA stouts.
