This is excellent. Old school meets new school, and the balance is impeccable. Soft and delicate, grassy, herbal, citrusy, slightly earthy, dry and effervescent, drinks WAY easier than 9.5%.

Cinnamon pancake aroma, light brownie batter, absolutely lovely. Flavor is comparatively a bit of a let down. Lots of pure cinnamon spice, some vanilla, tastes somewhat artificial, thin bodied, mild dark chocolate, a hint of bourbon. Underwhelming flavor.

Chris: Founders was bought out years ago by Mahou San Miguel. The quality has taken a nosedive. Not sure why so many people still buy founders?

Anthony D: Chris Agree that their quality has dropped which is why I rarely buy their expensive bottles. But shamelessly I still try all the “new” variants that come out, because…you never know? Haha.
