Unfortunately the can I got was 100% flat. Should have known because the can was super squishy. The seemed like it could have been interesting, the peppercorns were far more subtle than I expected. But the flatness really effected the beer as a whole.

Did not have high expectations for this, especially when I realized it was from Hite, but I was pleasantly surprised. Moderately sweet honey malt up front, restrained but firm bitterness at finish. Spritzy carbonation. Easy drinking and refreshing.

Nathan Burgess is drinking a Puffed Rice Chinese Brut Pale Ale (爆炒米中国香槟淡色艾尔) by Master Gao Brewing Co. of Nanjing (高大师) at District Kitchen

Light bodied w/ spritzy carbonation. Surprisingly prominent yeast phenols, Belgian-y clove, earthy middle and fairly floral finish. Maybe not the best made beer but it goes fine with spicy Chinese food, and it’s more interesting than Tsingtao.
