Caught me by surprise. Hazelnuts are front an center throughout with nice chocolate notes. Not too sweet but not too bitter. Simple but complex enough with a nice medium body and slightly dry mouthfeel. Alcohol is well hidden.

Fan of the style but this one lacked something. Nice coffee notes and and a piney/soil bitterness on the end. Bit on the thin side. Would have liked a touch of sweetness.

Bold and complex. Aroma of Dark chocolate, maple syrup pancakes, vanilla, rum raisin, currant. Oily slick body & rich. Very smooth for 17°. Flavor reflects aroma with nice espresso, some wood, molasses. Definitely a dessert. Wish there was a touch of bite
