Super bright and vibrant pineapple and lychee. Crushability factor of 11 out of 10. My notes are all naff, hence the untappd sabbatical.

Late tick and all that. MTL fuss beer. Bit of a fun mix with this one, some lychee and lime on the first sips, but the finish has some light grapefruit and pine pith.

United stumbling out of Europe? Standard. There's a slight Terry's Chocolate Orange aroma to Vol. 9 and it appears back on the finish but it doesn't necessarily translate to the body. Still, velvety and bitter Bournville dark chocolate can't be too bad.

Earned the Beyond a Shadow of a Stout (Level 7) badge!

Tucking into this. Really low carb but super interesting. The funky brett character is prelevant throughout but with the added fanfare of rhubarb, sherry, and some plum/red currant.

Earned the Wheel of Styles (Level 30) badge!

Pretty smooth and a wee bit of a velvety mouthfeel. There's an almost green tea and oaty finish to it but it still gives off some not yet overripe papaya.

Earned the Hopped Up (Level 35) badge!

Lots of raisin sweetness with some vanilla in the mix. Has a really spritzy finish and is pretty uplifting for a barley wine.

Opening of the Dexy's Midnight Runners song? I know it is spelt differently but the association cannot be removed! Candied mango and pineapple. Has some pine to the finish but it is still pretty bright and zippy.

Earned the Beer Can Appreciation Day (2022) badge!

Tick from last night and it has been a hot minute since I've had this beer. Big grapefruit and pineapple with Insti. Well rounded bitterness that has added floral juice content but isn't cloying. Super fresh and a pleasant surprise.

Light toffee and caramel malt body with just a bit of shreddies to it. Incredibly refreshing and super easy to drink. No pub, cask or sparkler but it'll do for now.

Super light bready malt body. Incredibly clean and zippy. Probably the wrong beer for the weather but it is does transport you to summer.

Crimbo and New Year in isolation so been a bit off the grid. Thick and rotten peaches so the taste buds are slowly appearing back. Incredibly dank and cloying.

Earned the Hair of the Dog (2022) badge!

Christmas Eve Eve and part of me is back home on the Steep Hill crawl in Lincoln (The Morning Star hiding in the shadow of the cathedral). Robust grapefruit bitterness teamed with a light biscuit malt body.

Almost a grapefruit fruit pastille sweetness on the first initial sips. Slight bit of piney bitterness that lingers on the tongue but still quite zesty.

The king of mass produced fizzy orange drinks is very well represented. Tangy Seville orange bitterness that dances on the tongue for the finish. The head disappears in an instant though.

Earned the 2X (Level 47) badge!

Certified banger. Subtle smoky brisket tinge yet really clean on the finish.

Earned the Down In Smoke (Level 2) badge!

Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark? Starburst citrus explosion of orange, mango, pineapple, and lychee. Swedish fish sweetness on the fin. Stupidly pillowy and as soft as the cloud that Lakitu goes around on in Super Mario Kart for the SNES.

Best time of year when this hits the LCBO shelves. Zesty plum marmalade aroma with raisin and treacle sweetness. Absolutely outstanding as it is now.

Mellowed out on the old untappd as of late. Fresh Seville orange skin that's smoothed over with apricot and some peaches and cream. IPAs fresh from the haze factory (farm) itself.

Earned the Heavy Weight (Level 53) badge!

Folly?! But with added castles, moats, towers and dragons. Really enoying this. Apricot (as is everything to me these days) and tangerine pith. Very well balanced on the finish between sweetness and bitterness. Sure to be crowd pleaser.
