Probably slightly past it’s prime, as some of the fruitiness seems a bit flat. Sharp puckery acidic sour, with notes of dark raspberry, blueberry, and a bit peppery. Yeasty.

It doesn’t get much better than this. Rich chocolate and sweet vanilla, reminiscent of hot cocoa with toasted marshmallow. Nutty almond/pecan and maple complimenting this sweet dessert stout.

A nice side-by-side for Independence Day! The 2019 has more vanilla and licorice while the 2021 has more milk chocolate. 2019 is a little hot. I think the bourbon comes through better on the 2019. 2021 is good too, though. Happy 4th of July. 🍺 💥
