Great malted red ale. The barrels provide a hint of wood and vanilla that works. The hops are in the background waiting for the finish.

Golden colored ale with big hops. Dry hopping to finish adds a palate wrecker element. If you're a hop head this one is a winner.

Rye is up front. Getting some slight raisin that ends up with a bit of a bitter, but very smooth finish. Well done

Mike Bomber is drinking a Not Your Father's Root Beer (5.9%) by Not Your Father’s at casa de Bombo

First - it's root beer alright. And it's got some ABV. I added 1/2 shot of bourbon. Yum.

Bourbon Barrel Aged Prelude (2013) by Shipyard Brewing Company

Mike Bomber is drinking a Bourbon Barrel Aged Prelude (2013) by Shipyard Brewing Company at casa de Bombo

English Ale with smoky hops. Getting some orange and some raisin on the finish. Winter would have been a better choice than a hot day.

Points Unknown IPA by Stone Brewing

So - Belgian ale aged in barrels that housed red wine & tequila. Then blended with Imperial IPA. Oh, and 9.5%. Out of this world.

Great nose full of hoppy aroma. Citrus dominates with some pine on the close. Love the bittering...just right.

Golden Belgian with nice fruit notes. A slight bitter finish is a great touch, but very subtle.

Ballantine IPA by Pabst Brewing Company

Smooth & Creamy. Imagining my Dad with one. Hops are slightly bitter but appropriate. More pine than citrus. Malts are well done.
