FAITH IN FUTURES // SKGN // DDH IPA by Northern Monk

James T. is drinking a FAITH IN FUTURES // SKGN // DDH IPA by Northern Monk at Carlton Meres Holiday Park

Very hazy pour with a big fluffy white head and tropical aromas. Feels very soft in the mouth but also full, almost thick fruit pulp like body. Deep tropical guava and passion fruit flavours and a hint of the strength.

This is a drop of the good stuff. Massively flavoured is spot on. Rich, roasted coffee bean, bitter dark chocolate, all on a smooth full body with a good head that laces down the glass.

Very very good bottle of Broadside. Rich and luxurious, silky smooth, sweet fruit cake flavours and hides its strength well.

Another freebie from the brother in law. A slightly better beer than the Sainsbury's before, more bite and flavour from the Citra. Accompanying my 1st charcoal bbq attempt in a decade too!

Taste the Difference Citra Session IPA by Sainsbury's

James T. is drinking a Taste the Difference Citra Session IPA by Sainsbury's at Carlton Meres Holiday Park

Clear golden ale poured with a big long lasting fluffy white head. Medium level bitterness, nothing too OTT but a good drying citrus flavour. Brewed by the Badger ales team and very good for a supermarket own label.

England Euro Champions! โšฝ๏ธโšฝ๏ธ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ† Fancied some hops after the last 2 malty beers. This is a great gluten free IPA, crystal clear golden pour, loads of body, big hoppiness and just a touch of honey sweetness.

2nd East Midlands amber of the night. Head retention isn't great, but big malty aromas like Shreddies cereal. Malt dominates the flavour too, but there is a hint of bitterness to balance it.

Free beer always tastes better, so thanks to the brother in law for this. Always forget what a decent beer Pedigree is, obviously not as good as my old man tells me it was in Burton in 70s but still a good malty session pint. Come on England!

New beer option in the clubhouse and it's not bad. Cold keg beer is fine this weather. There's hints of both malt and citrus hops.
