Saison is an underappreciated and underbrewed beer style, mostly because of the specific classic Saison yeast. It poses a serious risk of turning all your beers into a saison in the future. We wouldn't want that to happen. Luckily, it's the 21st century and there are new yeast innovations to mimic the style very closely. Time to hop on the Bandwagon! The first 2024 release in our infamous IPA series is brewed with a brand new Cryo version of one of our favorite NZ hops: Nelson Sauvin. This hop gives punchy notes of white grapes, passion fruit and gooseberries. Talus and El Dorado complete the starting grid for this beauty. We've developed a habit of brewing collabs with Dutch breweries from every corner of the country. This time with our friends from Zuyd Craft, who drove back and forth all the way from Maastricht to brew this creamy milkshake IPA with fresh pressed Feijoa fruit from New Zealand. The body of the beer comes from over 40% oats and just a touch of lactose for the milkshake effect. The taste of feijoa is often described as a pineapple and guava explosion with a hint of bubblegum and strawberry. Cheers from North to South! Read Less

The freshly released part is in your hand right now and is basically a wheat ale on steroids, dry hopped with fresh Ahhhroma and Nectaron. The other half of the batch decided to kick back and relax in fresh caribbean rum barrels for a while because no-one tells a wheatwacker what to do and when to do it. This second version of Crowd Pleaser is firmly bitter, and we love it even more than the first one. We've added some rice for an extra dry and crisp finish and dry hopped it with Motueka.
